Véronique Provencher has stood out with her social involvement from an early age. A former nurse who has won excellence awards, Véronique has branched out into the circus while retaining the human side that has always characterized her.
Dr Clown
Therapeutic clown came naturally to Veronique and she embrassed this beautiful art form. After having left the hospital as a nurse, she returns, but this time with a red nose and a mission: to offer joy, sweetness and fun to the children and seniors who need it.
Cirqiniq
Since 2009, Véronique has been working to teach circus to Inuit teenagers in Nunavik. The social circus approach is based on the integration of Inuit culture through circus disciplines. The objetive of Cirqiniq is to allow youth to gain personal growth while having fun doing circus.
Social Circus was implemented by Cirque du Soleil in order to intervene with at-risk youth.
